Najwa Karam Australia Tour 2014

As every Najwa Karam tour commences, I get increasingly impatient since it’s never in London, but at the same time, increasingly eager to see what she will be wearing. My regularity, which is kind of unfortunate.
The sold out  tour kicked off in Sydney on November 14, and Miss Karam was the Lady in Red that night. The floor-grazing crepe dress featured a knee-slit at the front and a 3D flower/bow on the bodice. Essentially for me, this added an element of cuteness and it is what made this dress more interesting and appealing.

Najwa Karam went to the future with this trumpet-style silhouette enhancing dress with an open back for the second night. The autumn-appropriate colours of the dress were divided, where the bodice was black, partially-sheer and vertically lined. The burgundy areas were finely beaded into a symmetrical shape. I felt like the two colours together and the necklace-like beaded piece at the neck were relatively unpleasant, however.

The Queen continued to defy the laws of ageing as she looked like she belonged in a fairy-tale with this beautiful dress from Cristian Samfira's Luxury 2015 collection, and I don't think I can be anymore in love with it. The dress is immediately made elegant with the handmade painted flowers on either side, on top of black ruched illusion tulle. The gown also cinches in at the waist and flawlessly accentuates it, then mildly puffs out.
All hail Queen of Eternal Grace, Najwa Karam!

The fourth look was this midnight blue asymmetrical gown, which featured an over sized ruffled flower on the side, and a horizontally lined sheer organdy floor-grazing skirt.
I was not particularly keen on the combination of these elements, especially the ruffled mess on the side, however the enchanting colour and the cinched in waist made up for the style and the shape.

Fashionalysed's Fashion Favourites - Beyonce

If you're going to run the world, you have to do it in style.
The following will be showcasing my favourite outfits worn by the diva, as a solo artist (because let's be honest, the outfits worn back in the Destiny's Child days were somewhat... questionable. Sorry Mama Tina!) as she continues to reinvent her self, to this day - in terms of style and music, as the two go hand in hand and influence one another. You just don't know what she's going to wear next, and that is what I love!

**Order in year, not personal preference**

Academy Awards (2005)
Versace

I'm still struggling to keep my mouth shut at this - still - jaw dropping attire.
This velvet vintage Versace gown, along with the Lorraine Schwartz jewellery screamed class and sophistication as Beyonce went for a classic Hollywood look. There is nothing that I don't completely love, especially the strapless opening of the dress, which further adds to the luxurious atmosphere that this black gown conveys.

Dreamgirls London Premiere (2007)
Elie Saab

All hail Queen of Eternal Grace: Beyonce, showcasing her curves and bringing glitz and glam to the London Premiere of Dreamgirls with this utterly mesmerising sequined dress by Elie Saab.

Grammy Awards (2008)
Elie Saab

If I could, I would have included every Grammy Award outfit she's ever worn, because she simply does not know how to go wrong for the Grammys.
Intricately beautiful asymmetrical bodice and dripping metallic detailing... Need I say more?

Cadillac Records Premiere (2008)
Zuhair Murad

The Queen brought with her her ever present and famous curves at the Cadillac Records premiere with another Lebanese designer's creation; Zuhair Murad, and went back to black with this glorious floor-length gown, featuring a lace pattern overlay and glittering black sequin details.
Ultimate heart-eyes.

Golden Globes (2009)
Elie Saab

This divine diva looked like a sculpture as she graced the Golden Globe's red carpet back in 2009, wearing this ivory, silhouette-enhancing piece of complete perfection by Elie Saab, featuring intricate and beaded detailing.

'I am... World Tour' NY Screening (2010)
Naeem Khan

Going for a more casual look (than previous, at least), Beyonce opted for this eggplant beaded and patterned number by Naeem Khan. I think the yellows, purples, whites and black that are featured, along with the seemingly cinched waist go together so beautifully. Having said that, I think the pattern gives the illusion of a slightly wider figure, however, knowing Mrs Carter, it's probably exactly what she was aiming for!

BET Awards (2012)
Stephane Rolland

Beyonce stunned at the 2012 BET Awards, wearing this one-sleeve, silky chartreuse coloured gown, with a thigh-borderline-hip-high slit. It was styled with a metallic waist belt, that she actually wore upside down to how it was shown in the designer's Fall 2012 Couture runway.

'Life is But A Dream' NY Premiere (2013)
Elie Saab

Looking like a vision, Beyonce glided down the red carpet for the HBO Premiere of her documentary; 'Life is But a Dream' wearing this breathtaking greige couture gown designed by Elie Saab. The form-fitting gown featured embellished floral appliques and geometric see-through sections.
I found it to be a little over-the-top for the occasion but I'm certainly not complaining!

The Mrs Carter Show World Tour (2013)
Roberto Cavalli

Nobody's tour outfit(s) is on Beyoncé's level. She usually opts for daring choices as she transforms to her alter-egos on stage, and literally nothing compares to the fierce outfits that she chose for the "I Am... World Tour" that I could write a whole article in admiration of. For that reason, I have limited my Fashion Favourites choices to events other than tours.
Except, I have cheated here, because let's be honest, it doesn't look like her typical, leotard kind of choice... Which is probably the worst excuse I could have thought of, but basically, I couldn't resist.
This muslin-silk, burst of colour by Roberto Cavalli featuring gold barocco embroideries around the bodice and double thigh-high slits is absolutely breathtaking!

"BEYONCÉ" Album Screening & Release Party (2013)
Tom Ford

Video Music Awards (2014)
Zuhair Murad

One of my favourite things about such events, is seeing a change of dress and usually only one dress catches my eyes, or in some cases none. But not for Beyonce. This diva wore three outfits for the VMAs, and all of which were 100% on point.
The first was a beaded, skin-tight black gown that was partially sheer by Nicholas Gibran, which she accessorised with distractingly over-sized earrings, which completed the look for me. The second was a long sleeved leotard for the stage that was designed Tom ford, featuring a broken glass-like effect. The third, was another skin-tight choice, and it was so hard to decide my favourite, but I settled for this beautiful maroon gown by Zuhair Murad, which showcased her ***flawless curves beautifully and featured partially-sheer, beaded sections on either side as she proudly held her much deserved Awards.

(All of the dresses I've included are my personal favourites, there were so many more I wanted to add, but it would have took me forever, so these are just my top favourites up to now.)
